Guardians of Freedom

My veterans appreciation pin design is meant to honor those in all sectors of the military. The background is the American flag because these veterans serve America. The American flag has the colors blue, to symbolize loyalty, vigilance, perseverance, and truth; red to symbolize courage, zeal, and fortitude; and white to symbolize deeds worthy of remembrance. This is another reason why I chose the American flag, it symbolizes so many things. I used the color black around the pin to symbolize determination and constancy. I made the stars gold to represent achievement, dignity, and honor. I wrote the United States of America on the outside of the pin because that's where veterans serve. At last, I chose the eagle to symbolize power and strength.
