The Pin of Branches

This pin represents support for our country and its veterans through the usage of various symbols. The design of the pin shows an American flag, which is the primary symbol of our nation and shows our freedom. Though there are usually fifty stars, this pin includes six stars on it to symbolize the six branches of the military. The nine stripes show the many values of the branches: loyalty, selflessness, devotion, respect, excellence, integrity, duty, courage, and commitment. On top of the white stripes, words saying “United States Veteran” are written, and underneath are the words “defend” and “protect”. This shows support for our military’s method of assistance and sacrifice, by defending and protecting our country.
