The pin I have created was specially designed for the Marine Corps and it is meant to symbolize the triumph and perseverance in their service. The gold base of the pin symbolizes the individual’s achievements throughout their service; the American colors (red, white and blue) as well as the star in the middle represent the country they have served for, serving as a key reminder for what they fought for. Text is also included in the design, with the words “Corps” and “Marines” visibly present. Additionally, the text at the top of the pin is morse code (a secret code used in World War II) that spells out “USA”, which is meant to symbolize the historical aspect of war. The wings on the pin represent the perseverance and resilience the individual awarded the pin offered in their service, acting as an integral reminder of their hardships.
