My badge has a red background and a red poppy on the side, it also includes a small quote stated by General Jimmy Doolittle. The red background represents the passion and desire of the veterans. The red poppy represents the memorial flower of the VFW. And lastly, the quote is supposed to inspire the reader to understand the sacrifice of a veteran.
