What is a veteran? A veteran is a person that helped serve in our country to give us the freedom we have today. I chose the Coast Guard as my pin because they provide help for the enviroment and marines. The Coast Guard stays on water and distrupts dangerous and illegal activity. The Coast Guard also saves people by doing search and rescue to find people if they're stranded and can’t get anywhere. These are the reasons why I chose the Coast Guard as my pin.
