Respect and Remembrance

I decided to use red, white, and navy blue for my pin to honor the American flag. The color red stands for valor and bravery. Blue represents vigilance, justice, and perseverance. White represents innocence and purity. The golden star represents all the many sacrifices these veterans have made and wisdom and loyalty. While poppies symbolize respect, remembrance, and once again, the sacrifices the Veterans have made plus, it stands as a symbol of gratitude towards the fallen Veterans. For my message, I decided to write “Thank You, Vets!” So that the Veterans feel appreciated. I also chose to write this since it doesn’t use much emotion. I desire that when someone sees my pin I want them to take a moment and remember and honor all Veterans. All in all, I want my pin to have an important meaning and to make any Veterans who see this feel appreciated.
