U.S. Air Force Pin

My Veterans Day pin is designed to honor members of the United States Air Force. The border of the pin includes 45 stars, while the inside features the remaining five, representing each of the 50 United States of America. One of the stars is much larger than the rest, as it sits in the upper center behind the eagle crest. The wings of the eagle are further defined by four more shooting stars, which also serve as stripes to the overall flag design. At the front of the whole pin is the fighter jet design which the Air Force is known for using in their aerial defense. The pin also implements commonly patriotic colors including blue, red, white, and gold. My pin reflects the patriotism and symbolism of the Air Force to both veterans and citizens alike.
