Veteran Pin

This pin that I have designed gives respect to all branches of the US military with symbolism in correlation to veterans. The text on the pin is red and blue which relates to the American flag. In the center of the pin, I have placed a poppy flower which is a symbol of remembrance and support for veterans and their families. The pin features 11 poppies because this number is important to veterans since on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918, the peace treaty between allied forces and Germany was signed, signaling the end of World War I. Finally, the six stars around the center of the pin represent branches of the armed forces. The green star is for the Army, red for Marines, turquoise for Coast Guard, light blue for Air Force, white for Space Force and navy blue for the Navy.
