Veteran Shield Pin

For this year's veteran’s day pin competition I designed a pin using the words “We salute to you” instead of the overused “Thank You”. The shape of the pin, which is supposed to emulate a shield, represents how those who fought for us are our shield or our protectors. The wings that come out of the shield represent the freedom that they give us by fighting. The people that fought for us deserve respect for their bravery and courage they had while fighting for our country.
