My Mission to the Moon

Emerging from the Moon Pod, the adventurous and daring test pilot/navigator, resourceful chemist, and myself, the determined mechanical engineer team leader, are in awe of the Moon's South Pole. This mission will put to test our field-leading abilities and years of bonded friendship to establish a permanent research facility on the Moon's South Pole powered by KRUSTY (Kilopower Reactor Using Stirling Technology). This nuclear power supply will support a small habitat for future astronauts to set up a colony and cooperatively research liquid oxygen and hydrogen found in the form of lunar ice on the moon's surface.
