Artemis 3, Sprout

3, 2, 1 lift off! On board Orion is the first woman to land on the moon! She is a botanist. Also onboard? the next man to go to the moon, a pedologist. Their Artemis 3 mission? To grow plants that will help astronauts explore the moon’s soil and water! They have to collect soil samples and water, and establish a biodome named Sprout for a week planting beans! They will bring some supplies to earth too. If their mission is successful Sprout will promote and maintain a space-friendly ecosystem that will sustain life on the moon!
