In order to combat the effects of climate change in my community, I propose creating a power plant that merges the various types of energy sources, so that energy is generated, processed, and transported through a central unit. Not only will this encourage use of more natural energy sources, such as hydro and solar power, but it will also decrease the need for multiple types of power plants for each type of energy source. With less land needed set aside for these plants, there will be more land to develop even more energy extractors such as wind turbines and hydropower dams. These plants will be dominated by renewable energy sources, rather than coal, gas, and nuclear energy.
