Rain has been an important aspect of daily life for many centuries in many locations, especially in pre-colonial days when farming was a necessity for the community and the survival of the tribe. Rain is still important nowadays, but the water distribution is quite uneven and some places get excessive rain. While rain can be valuable, excess rain can be detrimental to infrastructure, transportation, and even farming, as soil can be eroded. A solution for this can be cloud seeding. While cloud seeding is still in development, it can be utilized to force rain in locations that collect rainwater. These water collectors are placed in and around cities in New Jersey and New York, such as Lacey and Berkeley. The collectors will be facilities that are able to collect large amounts of rainwater using tanks, buckets, and the like. After the water is collected, it will go through a purification process, which is a series of filtration processes and chemical treatments. The water is then ready to be shipped to places in need of water. While this solution does not directly reduce the amount of rain in certain areas, it can help to distribute water more evenly throughout America.
