A rising issue within the state of New Jersey is a decrease in the annual average precipitation rate. This issue impacts all of New Jersey and many other states included. The average rates of precipitation have decreased greatly within the last 5 years and even more within the last decade. This rising issue may impact farmers, parks, reserves, and even normal civilians. Farmers may not be able to support themselves if their crops are not getting enough water. The vegetation within parks and reserves may suffer due to a lack of water. The lawns and foliage of normal citizens of New Jersey may be negatively impacted. I believe that the negative impacts can be reduced with a new system of watering and sprinkler systems. Civilians and farm owners can pay a low price to have this system installed. City and government-owned areas can have these systems installed through the government. This would lessen the amount of damage caused to the vegetation within the state of New Jersey and could even lessen the possibility of forest fires. This would also positively affect the animal life within New Jersey by allowing them to keep their domains.
