Water is essential for all living things on this Earth. However, the quality of the water affects the organism. Water can be used for many things such as drinking, irrigation, agriculture, and daily necessities. Climate change poses a challenge to the quality of the water we use. The effect climate change has on water quality is it contributes to polluting water. This is a big issue as polluted water can be harmful to organisms. Mangroves however can fix this problem as mangroves filter pollutants through their big roots. Hence the quality of the water is restored as the pollutants are filtered. This can be economically beneficial as it doesn’t require much only to plant mangrove trees. We can start by just observing mangrove trees that are already grown and see the effect it has on the water quality. Afterward, an organization could be created to work on this. This will help reduce the cost of planting mangrove trees. This is how mangrove trees improve the quality of water when it's affected by global climate change.
