As climate change gets more severe, wildfires are becoming more common and more difficult to control. The effects wildfires have on the community include ruining air quality, causing respiratory problems, and, depending on the weather, the fires can spread really fast. The solution I chose is to develop an app that tells you where a fire occurs, the wind speed (to show how quickly it will spread), the direction it is moving, and the quality of the air in your area. It will also show areas that are at risk of fires. The app can also show areas where it is safe to have a campfire so that you can plan camping trips without risking accidental fires.
