A way to fix flooding in Louisiana is to build the levees higher up and reinforced. We need to reinforce the levees and build them higher because when seas and oceans are being pushed against the levees it is causing them to crack and give out due to high pressure winds and waves constantly hitting against them. New Orleans, Louisiana was majorly flooded in 2005 because the levees had been over flowed and the levees began eroding and giving out causing major flooding to happen. We need to reinforce them so they will last longer and are stronger because levees begin to crack and break as time goes on. We need to build them higher up because as the waters rise some of them are not high enough so water over flows.
