Educating on climate change and how to help stop it is very important. That’s why with my proposal the goal is to educate our high school and college students about the benefits of public transportation. To do this a video will be made on the steps needed to successfully ride public transportation because most people are too intimidated to try. Taking the bus will take away emissions from the personal vehicles people would be using instead of the bus. Riding a bike is also another great way to get around your city if it is possible for you to do so. With educating the youth about public transit, I will also tell them the resources and free ways they can use if cost is an issue for them, so that a wider audience will be helped. Making a societal switch to public transportation will greatly help lower our CO2 emissions and will benefit our society in other ways as well. It will clear up traffic and make cities for people to walk and bike.
