My proposed plan is to make a video explaining how to use local metro buses in a simple way, so people feel more comfortable using public transport. I want to specifically target our local university students because they get free transport but don’t take advantage as much as possible. We also want to target high school students encouraging younger generations to start the trend and follow through into their older years with public transportation. With more people riding the bus, this will also encourage people to walk more reducing carbon emissions and improving the health of the citizens. The video will include how to get on the bus with a bike or without. I want to show how easy it is to pay the fare or the month pass, plan your route, and ride the bus. We will show off all the bus's different parts and etiquette. Ultimately my goal is to reduce carbon emissions by encouraging more people to use public transportation in America like many other countries.
