My climate action is to make heating/cooling centers more known and accessible to the people who need the resources and shelter. Our plan is to inform the people by the media, billboards, posters, and announcements to reach a wide audience. Another thing in my plan is to provide free transportation or give knowledge on how to get free transportation to get to these centers. We want to encourage more business and/or buildings to be welcoming to everyone, especially people who are less fortunate like homeless people. We want there to be a surplus of places where people can go for shelter where they can keep warm or stay cool when severe weather is happening. It is important that we help the people who are less fortunate so they don’t suffer from extreme weather conditions.
