The wetlands and marshes of Louisiana have always been a staple of Louisiana industry and culture. In the past decade, Louisiana has seen an increase in the amount of pollution in the wetlands and other water sources of the state. As of 2020, 90% of the water sources in Louisiana were considered to be contaminated and unsafe for wildlife to inhabit. Although humans caused the problem, we are the only solution. By recycling more and using more sustainable products, we can help prevent further pollution. Despite the fact that we can not eliminate all non-sustainable actions, if most people of Louisiana contribute a small amount then it can help put a stop to excessive pollution.
