California has been in a drought since 1841 and it’s only getting worse. The reason for this is the dramatic increase in temperatures caused by pollution and fossil fuels also known as climate change. Climate change is a big problem in the world today. If we don’t stop the rising temperatures from climate change that could cause droughts and create more wildfires. To fix these problems we need to take action and work as a community to conserve the water we have left. That’s why we are creating the National Drought Federation. We plan to save the water we have less by making dams, saving water from rainfall, and more. By saving water we are helping with drought in California. Other steps people can take in general are taking shorter showers, making sure there are no leaks in their water systems, and more.
