In my home of North Carolina there have been 111 climate disasters since 1980. Together costing us an estimated amount of 50-100 billion dollars. What causes and increases the dangers of these Climate disasters? Global warming. Global warming doesn't just affect weather, but it does much more, amplifies coastal erosion, threats to biodiversity, and even raises the sea level, endangering billions. One of the main attributes that causes global warming is deforestation. Planting trees is the most effective and simplest way to counter this problem. My plan to reduce global warming is with a simple yet effective idea known as the seed feeder. This is a device that uses the power of the animals to spread seeds all around. For example, there are multiple feeders in the forest filled with seeds. Birds have a tendency to consume these seeds. These seeds go through their digestive system unharmed and whenever the bird poops, the seeds go with it, spreading their roots. In these bird feeders, they are also covered with seed which attach the feathers and spread as the bird is flying. This doesn't work for just birds. Deers, bears, and foxes can also help by consuming and spreading seeds.
