Wildfires are a major problem in many parts of the world where temperatures are extremely high and wind speeds can trigger dry brush to start a fire at any moment. While drought and high temperatures are hard to stop and constants whether or not a fire may take place, wind speeds can be the secret to anticipating these so called “wildfires”. We can use technology to sense where cold and warm air is, and then prepare for where the air temperatures may conflict and create a fire-starting wind. With that type of technology firefighters will be notified and can stop fires at the source before they get out of control and become wildfires. For this to work, and for the technology to be used at full potential my invention will be crucial. My invention is a drone, that can fly around these dry areas that are notorious for wildfires, and sense the air temperature of the air around these areas. Then, this information would be sent to weather observations centers who could notify firefighters if they suspect a wildfire to possibly start.
