Smoke Stopper is a solution for people living in wildfire-prone areas or areas affected by the smoke emitted during the wildfire season. The Smoke Stopper is a ventilation system to be installed in homes in wildfire regions and uses existing technology to protect people inside their homes. It is designed to have smoke detectors around the vents outside the house that connect to automated vents. When smoke is detected, or alerts of fires nearby come out, the vents will automatically shut to keep the unhealthy air out of the house. A list of regulations that should be implemented on homes built in areas where fires are common is also included as one of the ideas presented on the poster.
