We all know that temperatures are rising all over the world because of climate change and some people may think that it is only affecting the oceans and places that are very cold like Antarctica, the Arctic, the Himalayas, e.t.c. However, it is also affecting environments that are warm by causing the temperatures to increase in those places resulting in heat waves. This is happening in many places around the world including the U.S and Cincinnati Ohio. Heat waves can have various effects on people including dehydration, and heat strokes. What I think that the community should do is to provide shelters that are suited for heat waves so that when a heat wave hits, people can go to these shelters to cool down when at outdoor attractions like parks. I also think that we should have programs that will distribute clean water and programs that plant trees so that people can be cool while in the sun. With these solutions, we will be prepared the next time a heat wave hits us while finding more ways to take out climate change.
