Breathe Easy with Public Transit! My proposed climate action plan is to remodel my community’s public transit system to be more desirable and efficient to use. The current system is not that appealing due to the cleanliness and overall experience which leads a large number of people to rely on personal vehicles. This contributes significantly to air pollution through their vehicle’s CO2 emissions. I plan on making public transport the popular choice by making it cleaner and quicker. This plan is crucial in addressing climate challenges. Relying on private vehicles not only increases pollution but is not as effective at getting large groups of people places. By improving public transit reliability, I hope to encourage a large portion of my community to take the buses and trains, decreasing pollution. This will promote cleaner air and a healthier community. A more dependable public transit system is crucial in building an environmentally-conscious community. By choosing public transit, we are not only fostering a cleaner environment but also increasing community collaboration. It is a collective effort to decrease pollution, but I hope that with my plan we can avoid the detriments of car pollution and steer towards a cleaner, more sustainable future together.
