FlexSeal, a company that produces adhesion bonding products, will create a new product called FlexSeal Concrete that can be sprayed around the outside of a home to protect it from water damage. This product will be almost similar to liquid cement. When it is sprayed, a fatty liquid will relase and eventually (after about 2 hours) the liquid will become solid. This product should be sprayed at the base of the house (where the house touches the ground). By doing so, the cement will add an extra layer of protection to the house from the water. This ensures that no water will leak through any cracks in the base of the house (in case of hurricane or thunderstorm) and therefore allows for the people in the community to have less financial issues from flood repairs.
