The Unique Universe

Our unique little universe has many parts. There are clouds and planets. Everything is recycled or borrowed. The clouds are made of bottles that we had stuffed with fairy/christmas lights. On the outside of the water bottles, we hot glued cotton balls. The planets that hang above our clouds are old plastic ornaments (clear, lightly colored with paint), stuffed with fairy lights. The clouds are the major parts in our project. They make up the light interactions. One light interaction is absorption. Some cotton balls, on thicker layers, absorb the light being passed through the bottles. Our second light interaction that is required for this project is transmission. Some other cotton balls on thick layers pass light through themselves,causing you to see light on top of the cotton balls. The planets are just for decoration, they don’t actually serve a purpose in our design. The star fairy lights are just used to add a pretty background to the video.
