Chameleons

My animal is a chameleon, some facts about chameleons are, they have a two-foot-long tongue, and mostly eat insects and some larger chameleons might eat small birds or other lizards. Chameleons change color by the brain sending a message to the cell to get bigger or smaller, when this is happening pigment release and create a new color of skin! In the future chameleons might lose their legs because of it getting so hot it burns of their legs and they would just slither around like a snake. It would also no longer be able to change color, they would be the mix of color of brown,black,and grey. They would stop changing color because it would be so dry and hot. The chameleons would also have a stinger on the tip of their tale to defend them self. That is somethings that might have affect on a chameleon during climate change!
