The Future Okapi

Okapi live in central Africa, in the rainforest, on the ground. In the future, I think that the okapi will lose the stripes on the top half of his hind legs and keep the stripes on his legs. Because the grass would be shorter, they would not have to blend in with the trees anymore, but with the grass. I also think that they would not have horns anymore because they use their horns so they don't get tangled in the branches. They would no longer need them because most of the trees would be gone. Right now, okapis eat plants like grass but in the future he would no longer eat plants and they would become carnivores. After a while he would have to start to grow sharper teeth. Right now the okapi’s teeth are very small and would be hard to use for hunting and eating animals.
