We all know that ring-tailed lemurs live in the rainforest of southwestern Madagascar, but recently, rainforests have been getting destroyed and their trees are getting chopped down. Today, ring-tailed lemurs are known for their stripes on their long tails that can let the lemurs have balance! Their fur is gray, and they have yellow looking eyes! But, in the future, they will be a lot different. In the future, the ring-tailed lemurs will have diamond looking eye circles to show that it eats more meat instead of plants. Although they are omnivores, they will eat more meat because there won’t be any plants or fruits since the rainforests are gone. The tail will be shorter, and their recognizable stripes will be gone because of the shortage of the tail. Because the tail gives the lemur its balance when it walks, the lemur will look like it's limping a little bit.
