My animal is the golden lion tamarin monkey. Right now it lives in a coastal rainforest and eats fruits and insects. It spends most of its time in the trees. I predict that soon the coastal rainforests will be underwater and the golden tamarin monkey will have to gain adaptations to live underwater instead of in trees. They will form gills to breathe underwater, teeth to catch fish, dorsal fins to steer, scales to steer through the water, a shorter tail to get away from predators, and fins on the tail to steer. The golden tamarin will have all of these adaptations, and because of global warming the entire coastal rainforest will overflow, it must adapt to its new surroundings to be able to survive.
