The red faced spider monkey usually lives in the trees of the Amazon forest and eats fruits, and insects. If the trees were to be cut down how would the red faced spider monkey adapt to the environment? First, I think the red faced spider monkey's legs, arms, and tail would get shorter since it won't be hanging from tree branches. It would not have to stretch out its arms, legs, and tail on the tree branches. It would be living on the ground since the trees would be cut down. I also think that the red faced spider monkey would have to eat insects and small rodents since fruits won't be able to grow because the trees would be gone. It would also learn how to swim so predators won’t get it.
