The images depict Electric Eels and their tails. The first one is in it's current state and the second one is in it's future state. The adaptation my Eel has in the future is it's tail becomes sharp and is as wide as their body so it can burrow in the mud. They get this adaptation because, of climate change and since it lives in the water the mud walls of the swamps are an easy thing to burrow in to cool off in.
