Currently, leopards live in rainforests with lots of trees and rivers. Rainforests could end up underwater and with less vegetation because of rising sea levels. Right now, leopards have bright colors, paws, curved ears, and long snouts. In the future, they might have darker colors, pointed ears, shorter snouts, and webbed feet. Webbed feet would occur so they could swim instead of climbing trees. Webbed feet would help them swim faster. Darker fur would help them blend into their surroundings because the water would be muddy and full of garbage. Pointed ears help amplify sounds so they can hear a lot farther. Many animals will go extinct if everything is underwater, so they need to be able to locate their food. Shorter snouts would make it easier to keep their noses above water as they swim, helping them not drown.
