Kingfishers that are mainly found in North America near bodiesys of water. One adaptation I drew on the bird is a bigger beak. This is because over 56% of the world’s oceans are changing color making it harder for the birds to see when hunting so with longer beaks it would be easier for them to catch small fish, tadpoles, and shrimp. The second adaptation of the bird that will be passed down to generations is that its feathers may become mostly light blue and white. This is because it is becoming colder with more snow where these birds live so it would help them hide in their environment better from predators. Lastly, I gave the bird more feathers since it’s getting colder in its habitats and with more feathers it can stay warmer.
