Tree Sloth

The Sulawesi bear cuscus prefers to live in an undisturbed forest with a warm/wet climate. In the future, the Sulawesi bear cuscus will live in the plains and will have a much warmer climate due to climate change and deforestation. With this change in its habitat, adaptations come with that. Their diet will drastically change because an invasive species of plants overtake their old food. This change in diet causes the body to grow smaller. The nails grew much larger because, with the old nails, they were unable to rip apart these new plants.
