For the future creatures project I choose the Poison dart frog. Currently, the poison dart frog lives in a coastal rainforest. Their current adaptations include poison in their skin, bright colors to ward off predators and say “Im poisonous don’t eat me!”, strong legs to jump from leaf to leaf, and webbed feet so they can easily swim through water. But the poison dart frog lives in a coastal rainforest so in hundreds of thousands of years the rainforest might be fully under water so the frogs would have to adapt. The frogs would now have to live fully underwater, The frogs new adaptations would include, to keep their gills when they mature, and keeping their tails when they mature and still growing front and back legs. Keeping their tails would help them swim easily in the water. The frogs would also keep the poison in their skin.
