Capybaras of the future

The present day capybara is thicker and darker. They are herbivores, and they eat things like melons and grains. As you probably know, they live in the rainforest. They have small claws and flat teeth. They have bad eyesight, and surprisingly good hearing. They stay near streams and creeks so they can hydrate themselves. The future capybara could look something like this. It will be thinner so that they can transport themselves easier to run away from predators, or to catch prey. They would probably become carnivores, considering that plant life in the desert is discreet. They would have sharper teeth and longer and sharper claws. They would have bigger ears for even better hearing. They would be lighter colored for better camouflage. They would also have more markings.
