It is a bat that lives mainly in mangrove swamps but do to deforestation these rainforest are shrinking. Since the base of the swamps have a large water quantity the flying foxes could adapt to be better swimmers and could be able to live mainly in the water. Adaptions like fins on its legs modeled after manatees who also live in the swamps. They would keep there wings and separate legs but they would just have the addition of fins. They would have to be better adapted to water so they would have thinner fur and a little blubber to swim smoother and keep warm. The bats eat fruit so they would have to adapt to eat another diet so they would have fangs fangs to eat the fish in the forest. When going in the water they will be able to cool off easily with the rising temperatures.
