Pink River Dolphin

The Pink River Dolphin otherwise known as boto or amazon river dolphin is a animal that lives in the Amazon river. it's a whale and a vertebrate that can only live in freshwater. Pink river dolphins eat piranhas and small fish. Pink river dolphins get eaten sometimes by jaguars, caimans and anacondas. The pink river dolphin has a pink and gray color. In the future the fires and climate change will destroy the Amazon Rainforest. The Amazon rainforest will be covered in saltwater and sharks and Ocean fish will get in. The area around the river will be warm due to the fires.The Pink River Dolphins adaptations are light brown skin for camouflaging from sharks and light brown for heat resistance. They will have a shorter beak for eating big ocean fish.Finally the dolphins could adjust their proteins in their gills so that they absorb less salt in the water.
