Squirrel Monkeys

The animal shown is a squirrel monkey. They are native to the lush rainforests. They especially thrive in habitats full of dense vegetation and fruit-bearing trees. Their appearance is characterized by their brown/orange fur. Their adaptation skills enable them to traverse the treetops with great agility, use their tails for balance, and they have a very flexible diet that allows them to eat almost anything in harsh conditions. In the near future, the habitats of the squirrel monkeys face unprecedented challenges due to deforestation and climate change. As temperatures rise, they will lose their brown-orange color and adopt a lighter shade. There might be less trees, so they might not be as agile as they used to be. Additionally, the monkeys will also not need their tails. They might adopt a shorter tail. Lastly, their diets will get better as they have flexible diets.
