The red eyed tree frog lives in the inland rainforest area. Its predicted habitat is a savanna as the land will get drier due to climate change but will still have a rainy season. The red eyed Tree Frog’s current adaptations are bright colors to confuse predators, green skin to camouflage, being nocturnal to find better prey and having great climbing feet to scale trees. The predicted adaptations include having yellow skin to camouflage with the tall yellow grass around it, having toxins in their skin to defend itself from predators, being nocturnal so it can find better prey and avoid predators that come out during the day, and also great climbing feet to be able to climb trees. One more future adaptation is laying eggs during the rainy season of the savanna because otherwise they won't be able to lay their eggs because of the lack of water.
