Toucan adaptations

My future creature project is animal is a Toucan. Some adaptations the Toucan has in the rainforest are special feet for gripping tree branches dry and wet. Whenever it’s dark, Toucans may go on a trip so their black skin is nice for that, but they stand out a little more during the day. They use their long beaks for two things: one for defense and also for attracting a mate. The other is for eating nectar and for reaching bugs. For my future creature, I named it the Doucan because it's a duck-toucan hybrid. By 2050 almost half of the rainforest will be gone so most animals will have to adapt to a new environment. So The Doucan will be able to swim and will mainly get their food from the water like a duck. I believe they will get webbed feet and become more of a water creature.
