The giant otter lives in large streams and rivers. Some of its adaptations include ears and nostrils that can close in the water so they don't ingest the water. They also have waterproof fur to keep them warm in the cold winter water. To help them swim they have webbed feet and a flattened head for streamlined movement in the water. It may change if water levels rise to an amount that it must live in the sea, because it will have to live in the water. It will adapt to have a large tail fin and fins to increase its swim speed, it will also have eyes that have adapted to see in the dark better. Another adaptation is their whiskers will now be able to detect movement. Their skin color will change to a light blue so that they can blend in and catch their prey by surprise.
