The Red Panda

The red panda of the present has adaptations that help them balance such as their thick, furry tails that help them balance. They are also very good climbers which helps them escape predators. In the future, due to global warming, coastal rainforests will flood and go underwater. The red panda of the future will have a better digestive system so that it can eat more to become more buoyant. It will also develop gills to stay underwater for long periods of time. They will be able to digest fish and kelp. They will become redder to help them blend in with coral reefs. Longer arms will help them reach wood along with sharper claws to eat. They will have webbed-feet like flippers so that they can go faster. Red pandas will absorb water when threatened to make them look bigger.
