The Aye-aye lives in a tropical rainforest on the coast of Madagascar, but due to climate change its environment is changing rapidly it will have to adapt to survive. With climate change, I predict its environment will become a marsh or seasonal wetland with long grasses, lots of standing water, and very few trees. The aye-aye will have to become a lot less dependent on trees to survive. The aye-aye's current adaptions include big eyes, sharp incisors, a long bony middle finger, and big ears. Then I think the aye-aye in the future will still have a lot of the same features but will have bigger hands with sharper nails so it can burrow into the ground for shelter, and also eat the worms and insects in the soil it will find while digging. It will use that middle finger to find food in fallen trees and old logs.
