The Future Red Pandas

My tropical rainforest vertebrae animal is a Red Panda. They live near the Himalayas. Red Pandas have a lot of adaptations related to their paws. Red Pandas have a wrist bone kind of like a thumb that helps them pick up and eat bamboo. They also have strong flexible paws that help them go straight down trees. Since Red Pandas live in the cold rainforests they need a big bushy tail to help them stay warm. Red Pandas have strong teeth, a wide skull, a huge jaw that lets them chew hard food, and a cone structure in their mouth that helps them drink liquids. Due to Climate Change, Red Pandas will live in a savanna. They won’t need a big tail or a thumb bone. Red Pandas will adapt by having lighter fur, they will have fur on their paws, and a longer tongue to help them drink water.
