As the landscape becomes a muddy marsh and the water will become murky, these dolphins will be able to move on land to escape predators and find cleaner water. There will also be a color change from pink and gray to tan with brown stripes to be able to blend in with the muddy and swampy landscape. They naturally live in the water but if they do come out of the water to find cleaner water or escape a predator they won’t be able to find their natural food sources. These dolphins are now omnivores; they eat fish, prawns, shrubs, leaves, and frogs. These dolphins will get smaller as the temperature rises to increase their metabolic rate (amount of energy expended by an animal over a specific period of time), their skin will be seasonally thinner during summer to help with cooling and thicker in winter to help with heating.
